I'll join in for dinner if I'm in town that Fri. Careful about the spice challenge. There's a famous Indian restaurant ADL that serves Tindaloo which is at least 3 times the strength of a proper vindaloo. I thought I had the stomach of steel until I tried their Tindaloo.

Tandoori Oven used to cook both Tindaloo and Vindaloo. I tried them both. Tears streaming down. Fabulous.

Booked and paid for both Mrs QF WP and me.

Very interested in Indian, Gold x 2 - we both love Tandoori Chicken (or Butter Chicken). I can think a couple of bottles of Red and White will be needed.

I checked the booking list this morning and the following have paid for the trip so are listed as Platinum, in alphabetical order:

ALH
blackcat20
boomy
GPH
jojen +1
Kabander +1
munitalP
pagingjoan +1
Princess Fiona
QF WP +1
RooFlyer
Shrek
TomVexille
unnamed +1

Buzzard +1

That's a total of 21 assuming I can count correctly.

There are only 4 spots available - any takers?

Better get in quick to reserve your place: trybooking

As I thought I was too late to the party I am now busy that weekend.

Still happy to waitlisted for the subsequent event, should it occur.

What was the plan again, and showing my late interest.

And can you drive from Melbourne to Adelaide in 1 day via the great ocean road.

+1 is busy looking into Indian restaurants for a banquet.
Any expressions of interest? You don't need to come to the Barossa to come along Saturday night.

Just got excited about coming to dinner, Indian food is my favourite - then remembered we will be in London that night! Enjoy everyone.

The drive from MEL to ADL is normally about 7 hours (via Bordertown). To go via the Great Ocean Road would add at least half as much again. A very long day, but possible.

Would be great to see you at dinner Aeolus, just be aware that the dinner is on Saturday 11th April.

Lol :) a true AFFer

I love Indian food too, shame I'm also away that weekend - but I've got an idea what we should do for another ADL meet :)

Buzz,
Confirming that I/we cannot now attend (:() but would like to be listed for the follow up event. ()

Taj Tandoor is good also. We used to go there when it was in the Square. Don't dare go there without a reservation. Even when it was empty and you'd be a walk in they acted like they had no space.

Jasmin seems a bit on the more expensive side.

We have not ruled Jasmin out but checking on Banana Leaf and the place on Rundle Street adjacent The Stag which I think is called Taj Tandoor.

Our intention is to organise a banquet.

Sounds great. Jasmin is the only place I know that has Rockford black Shiraz and basket press Shiraz available. Wouldn't want to spoil people for the following day. ;)

After the event sells out I shall start listing what some of the prizes will be. I had confirmation today that one of the attendees is also donating a prize. Stay tuned for exciting announcements.
