To unpack or not unpack...

90% of the time I will travel wearing my Nicola Waite, very loose flowy, non crush black pants, Icebreaker Merino bliss wrap over a Icebreaker Merino top. (or cashmere jumper if it's really cold). (I was a wool classer in a previous life, so natural fibres for me)

The only time I have worn jeans on a flight, I was given op/upgrade Syd/Sin on BA, so I am really not sure dressing "nice" works.

i find having the packing cells makes the need to unpack not so great

just put them in the wardrobe or shelving and then you have easy access to clothes and also so easy to pakc up and be ready to leave quickly.

I have a flying outfit. Black dress and leggings worn with flats is one. Other is black wide leg non crush pants and merino top.

Well, I started this thread as I thought I never unpack but this latest trip had made me see things differently. I realized that I unpack more than I thought at first.

I am a tad bit OCD so I like my "piles". Things on a row in order, like regular medication, things in order for morning, afternoon, evening (like I take out clothes for the day and line them up).

I keep clothes in the suitcase unless its dresses that would wrinkle. The rest seem to find a home in the hotel room, like toiletries, medication, make up, accessories etc. Funny how it is when you start observing your own behavior :D I thought I never unpack, but obviously I do to some extent :)

I have a similar infliction, however it's piles of paperwork (much to my wifes displeasure). When I worked more from home, my paperwork piles sort of fled the office and took up residence on the dining room table (12 seater so plenty of room there :D) however as much as I tried, they never seemed to decrease. Now that I'm only home for about half of my life, my +1 is considerably happier as she has a clear dining table for at least 2 weeks out of every month!

Whoever the idiot was that claimed a computer based society would be paperless, was clearly clueless!
