Tokyo (Narita) - Tokyo (Haneda) Stopover

3 arrivals on JL for me this year and been handed out arrival cards.

I actually don't bother to fill in the online form now as it's more time consuming than filling in the physical card and doesn't even save any time at immigration.

The second time doing the form it takes about 30 seconds to change the dates. It saves almost everything else!

Do you fly direct from the eastern states. For the flight I mentioned it was a single ticket ADL-xSYD-HIJ. There were no questions asked at ADL checkin.

CBR-NRT via MEL/HKG
CPH-HND via LHR/SIN
CBR-HND via SYD

I've been given the card once and asked once in flight.

Aug 2022 (before reopening) JL SYD> HND. Not asked about arrival card, (we had to fill it out online due to health declaration).
Jan 2023 CX MEL>HKG>HND (asked on flight if we did the visit japan - if not they handed cards)
Mar 2023 QF/CX SYD>HKG>NRT Nothing at all although this was full red eye - never taking the 0130 out of HKG again for NRT.
Sep 2023 MU SYD > PVG > NRT Was given in flight as most Chinese weren't filling out the online form.
Feb 2024 QF SYD > HND Asked at SYD F check in.
Mar 2024 QF SYD > HND Nothing (Although the SYD F Check in person did comment on my collection of JP visa stickers over the years so maybe they thought I knew what I was doing?).

For reference, filling it out online once you have saved data is extremely quick. In fact the last time I filled it out whilst the plane was taxi-ing to the runway. (maybe 30seconds?). It helps that I stay at my friends place and that detail remains exactly the same for multiple trips.
