If they are financially unstable I'd be getting in there ASAP if you have a gift card. If they go into liquidation etc then one of the first things they do is stop accepting cards.

The stage before ours titled today and they're telling me ours is with the titles office (I'm not quite convinced), so hopefully we have good news next week.

The ACT LTO has been streamlined recently and some procedures, are now so easy that they can be performed by the interested party. I registered a discharge of mortgage and had my wife registered as a joint tenant and completed the two transactions had a new title issued at the office in less than 30 mins. Large cost saving as no need for a solicitor or land broker.

Progress! Our land has made it out of council and is ready to be titled, which should happen by early next week at the latest!!!
Settlement should be just after Australia day.
