TomCat's new digs!

Supervisor is on holiday from today (as far as I recall). Had hoped for an update but can hassle the coordinator. Plan is to pop down after work tomorrow for a look to see what has happened this week. Then I'll organise a walk through once cabinets are all in. Hoping desperately that stairs are in so that sneaking upstairs is easier

I was wondering how you managed to get upstairs last time.

Weather from Adelaide is rather rank. They may not get much done tomorrow. Hopefully plenty of inside stuff to do though.

Are you doing storage in the roof space? We did that with a pull down ladder from the ceiling.

We have one of those and I find it a really spooky place. Flowers in the Attic and all that. I’ve only poked my head in there maybe a dozen times in the 15 years we’ve been here.

Hopefully especially if the bad weather slides on over to Melbourne

Eek, don't think I'd manage well (especially as I hate ladders). We have a storage 'room/cage' on level three so much easier to access. :)

No space in the roof.

Plenty going on inside, finishing off plaster, installing stairs etc. we only had a touch of rain this arvo so hopefully the cladding is also going on.

I feel like I’m doing a mini home build with all our Reno’s. I’m getting excited at all our progress at home so I can just imagine how excited you and TV are right now.

Coral gum, endemic to the Kalgoorlie-Coolgardie area in WA. Grows in heavier soils there, so will handle the heavy soils where you are (don’t know about the MEL weather, though :D.)

Not sure if this has already been asked, do you get a nice view from upstairs?
Back or front? At the moment from the front we can see the park/playground but that will probably disappear once we have a house across the street. At the back we have a farm at the moment but will be houses in the near future.

I'll try to remember to take some photos this afternoon.
