You're travelling in F. Of course it can come home with you! :)

I so should have asked! I was actually hoping to get one of the new Kate Spade J amenity kits but after a good snoop around the J cabin it turned out they only had the older ones.

Excellent TR BC. Been enjoying it!

I must say that I really have a dislike of the cup design Qantas use for F and in lounges. I find it much more difficult to pick up and drink from, specially with some turbulence. Why can't they use decent straight sided cups, and for F, maybe something finer not made to compete with those soled in The Reject Shops?

She's doing such a good job that I don't really have to add anything ;)

I prefer the JL mugs. It's why I went home with two :)

For the record, the JL F mugs I now have at home are a treasured gift from our outstanding crew.

This is my favourite airline mug as well.

I've actually asked to buy one but the FA just looked at me and smiled. I thought it was another case of 'lost in translation' and forgot about it but then towards the end of the flight she brought it nicely wrapped in a JL bag.

It was since broken in a tragic accident so looks like I'll have to "ask to buy" one again on my next flight ;)

Thinking about it, maybe I should go one step further and "ask to buy" a bottle of Salon just to see what happens :D

They dont have enough on board for that.

Actually, did you find the champagne on board JL went flat? The last glass of Salon that I got was still as water, as was a later glass of Taittinger. They obviously dont use a stopper but it goes flat so fast.

bc I have never tried Salon and have no idea about it going flat - BUT - I have been advised by SQ senior cabin crew that Krug once opened loses it's fizz much quicker than DP does once opened. Indeed on SQ shorter haul flts like 6hrs or lerss they regularly load half botts Krug for this very reason - I have never seen half botts Dom but maybe not bottled that way.

I actually found my Dom went flat, but then, maybe I didnt drink it as fast as I didnt enjoy it as much as the Krug.

QF dont seem to have an issue with Taittinger going flat so not sure why JL do.

Salon does go flat very fast. Initially I also thought they don't use stopper and even returned a couple of glasses which I felt bad about because this amazing drop will cost over $100 a glass outside... Anyway on one of the flights the FA opened a new bottle and poured for myself and +1. I finished mine quickly but +1 drinks slower and her went flat within 10 minutes.

Hmmm. A few people were drinking it and the two bottles vanished pretty fast so I'm surprised it could go flat that quickly.
