Are you buying things from the US to be shipped to Australia and missing out on cash back opportunities because the merchant isn't listed on major Australian players like shopback.com.au and/or cashrewards.com.au? Or are you buying things online whilst in Australia from US based businesses to have delivered to your hotel room/Airbnb address when visiting the US but missing out on cash reward opportunities?

Answer yes to either of these situations then topcashback is for you!

This site works pretty much like the Australian shopback and cashrewards that many of you will be familiar with, but obviously with US based businesses. Some of the merchants featured include:
Marriott Bonvoy
Old Navy
Walmart
Bloomingdales
Macys
Dick's Sporting Goods
JC Penny
Nordstrom Rack
Target
Best Buy
Amazon
US Ebay

And fear not it's easy to get your money back from topcashback, just transfer it to your Australian PayPal account (there are other options including gift cards).

Also worth noting is that the cash back offers on topcashback can be higher than those offered on Australian sites even if the same merchant is featured on both sites. There also appear to be exclusive discount coupon codes listed for different merchants on the topcashback site.

I've just returned from a month in California and Nevada and made extensive use of topcashback whilst in the US.

This works just like cashrewards or shopback in Australia, with many businesses to choose from including:

Old Navy
Walmart
Macy's
Dick's Sporting Goods
JC Penny
Nordstrom Rack
Target
The Cheesecake Factory

But here's another way to benefit from using this site - gift vouchers!

You can buy gift vouchers for many different businesses via topcashback at a significant discount. I bought gift vouchers for Macy's, Old Navy and Columbia at between 9.75% and 11.25% discount. I had no problems at all using these when in the US. Often these vouchers have no expiry date at all.

Here's a detailed list of the gift cards available:

I highly recommend purchasing gift cards before you leave Australia as a great way to save some money on your shopping, dining or accommodation whilst in the US.

Thanks Dr Ralph. Wish I knew about this earlier (frequently purchasing stuff for my son in College).

Okay folks, I'm putting it out there.

I have tried numerous times to purchase gift cards from Topcashback.com and I keep getting the error message - the billing address you provided does not match the billing address of the cardholder". I put in my physical address, can't add State (US State), add my zip code and country of AU. I've tried various credit cards, have called them but I still get the error message.

Anyone have any ideas?

As discussed via PM's @Maisy33 no issues with this at all for me - including very recent usage. Interested to see if others have experienced the same problem.

I've been using this site for 4 years now. It's particularly useful for buying gift cards to use in the US before you travel. These are offered with significant discounts. Current examples include (full list here: https://giftcards.topcashback.com/digital):

Macys: 11.7%
Bass Pro: 6.9%
Burlington: 6.18%
Columbia 10.5%
Old Navy 8.7%
Panda Express 4.2%

There are often additional bonuses awarded for purchasing gift cards (last week this was $2.50 on a minimum $20 purchase).

There is also the potential to use the site for cash back purchases to be sent to your hotel whilst in the US.

Currently they are offering $50 for referring a new member, so I would be extremely grateful if you considered using my link:
