Townsville Airshow

Im currently at Townsville, flew up strictly for the airshow yesterday and the open day at the RAAF base today.

Anyone else here and what did you think of the flying display at the waterfront yesterday afternoon ??

I flew up on Friday night for airshow on Saturday. Really enjoyed the flying display, good variety of aircraft. Didn't go to the open day on Sunday, but, from what I could see from my flight home looked like a good attendance with plenty of aircraft on display.

My daughter and I sat in the park on the Strand on Saturday and watched. I really enjoyed it, her not so much. Didn't get to the airbase as the primary reason for the long weekend in Townsville was to watch the WNBL Townsville Fire play as my niece is a long term player.
