- School tours
- Concorde tour not available
- No souvenir shop onsite (currently being built)
- Space shuttle viewing ordinary, was surprised at its size
- Growler sub tour, very confined and you can only go as fast as the person in front of you
- Intrepid has lots of segmented areas and you could easily miss a section

Overall money well spent and was on board for 3 hours.

Too bad about the concorde tour , it was our favourite , you get to spend a good amount of time in the coughpit .

Great trip report.
Taking Notes we are flying QF J to NYC in Sept and home with CX it will be our first time in J.
Also taking notes for our NYC stay. Did you buy the Basketball tickets before you left Oz?

Now back to the excellent trip report...

Clazman, could you have spent longer on the Intrepid than 3 hours?

Yes,

Was pouring so didn't spent to much time on the flight deck

Space shuttle and Hubble display we rushed through as it had 5 or more school groups in, and we didn't realise our ticket only gave us single entry into that pavilion

Hanger displays some were closed for upgrades

Interactive sections of the hanger (rides) were for 2 people only and I could get anyone to ride with me :-(

No souvenir shop which surprised me, but was being built

Something to be aware of, some of the sections require you to transition between levels using the original steps, which are steep and narrow

When it comes to tourist attractions worth seeing but they could do so much more

Really enjoyed speaking to the ex navy guys around the ship, that gave you a insight into life on the boat. I didn't know that the guy at the helm took directions left / right rather than port starboard, to avoid confusions with other commands in the bridge

Ah, the weirdness of QF in Perth - a packed QF lounge but no QF flights.

Anyone visiting North America has to see a game of ice hockey.

These tickets are from $250 seats, but they start at $10

The game I went to was Ottawa Senators vs Pittsburgh Penguin.

Ottawa had to win to make the playoffs, they won 4:3 in extra time after being down 3:0

Second hangar of aircraft we didn't visit and was disappointed as you can only do with a guide and we missed the last tour of the day

Canadian tomb of the unknown soldier, guarded by 2 military personnel. Due to the gunman who killed one of the guards last year, they are know protected by 2 armed police officers.
