Yes it is a 1:1 transfer to VA

Plat Edge earns Membership Rewards points which transfer to VA (and several others) at 1:1. For supermarket spend, you effectively earn 3 points per dollar.

Sometimes there are bonuses on transfers Amex to VA (& others). There was one towards the end of last year of 15% bonus points on transfer.

Offer expires: 18 Mar 2025

- Earn up to 100,000 bonus Qantas Points*
- Enjoy an annual $450 Qantas travel credit
- Don't forget the two complimentary Qantas Club lounge invitations and two visits to the Amex Centurion Lounges in Melbourne and Sydney.

I think it's a great card. Points transfer to VA quickly and there was a bonus last year as said. However can also transfer to other programs (CX,MH) which can offer better value.
You can also take advantage of the 3 points in supermarkets by buying Coles/Myer or WISH giftcards in the supermarket effectively getting you 3 points/$ in Coles Express, Caltex Woolworths, Dan Murphys, Liquorland, Myer etc etc. Bunnings vouchers also available in Coles. (I find this less of a hassle than buying the discounted giftcards off the web)

thanks guys., i am looking at shifting to this card from VA Platinum card, dont really use all the benefits of VA Plat card anyway.

Nothing better than getting 3 points per $ for Dan Murphy's. Apart from supermarket , petrol wine is my other big spend.
