Transfer Star Alliance Rewards points to KrisFlyer with 25% bonus until 31/10/24

HSBC Star Alliance cardholders can transfer their Star Alliance Rewards points to KrisFlyer by 31 October 2024 to get 25% bonus KrisFlyer miles.

I think this is the first bonus we've seen from this rewards program?

Just did a transfer now and points came through straight away, now to wait for the bonus 25% to come through before the end of November.

Handy but pretty useless if you want to book a reward seat and are scraping to get the points. Promotion starts 20 Sep but bonus points may not arrive until 30 November. Of course they could do it immediately after the eligibility period finished but I am not sure that is a sensible tactic for me to rely on.

Thanks AFF for the post. Came across it on 30th October so quickly transferred. I don't recall an email from SIA about the bonus offer.
