Hi all!

1st time poster, long time lurker.....

I am going to Vegas in October. Going PER-MEL-LAX-LAS then on return LAS-LAX-SYD-PER

Only going for 1 week for the SEMA convention but have a query about the return leg.

At the moment we Re on QF 12 leaving LAX at 22:30. Have a connecting flight from LAS which arrives at LAX at 20:30.

If i was to change our AA flight to arrive in LAX at 8:30am would our bags still be able to be dropped at the transit area? We Re also taking our 8 month old as well and were maybe thinking of going to Disneyland for the day. Would we be ale to drop our bags at the transit area but take the pram with us and drop off to the transit area on our return?

I have no idea how LAX works having never been to America!

I do believe that the bags would be checked through, however I also believe that you can ask for your bags to be checked through to only LAX. Keep in mind that LAX is not the most efficient airport out there so your quick visit there with picking up checked bags could end up been longer than expected and could start eating into your Disneyland time.
