If the rules haven't changed if flying J and F spa access is available. I've travelled wth a Y pax and No access. ...
What??? no Spa if flying in economy?

AFAIK, there are no COS rules for spa access per se.

Those in First can pre-book, any other lounge eligible PAX needs to take their chances on entry.

I was in Y on qf9 back in november and they came around and asked if I wanted a spa treatment. Guess they were bored :)

Last time some people on JQ35 got a massage...

Sent from my iPad using Aust Freq Fly app

No COS issues that I've ever seen.
5hrs will maximise chances however depends on how many F passengers have booked.

Some recent example.
Taezar could only get a facial/manicure at 1100 on recent Wed
I have previously had no luck on JQ35 (1500 departures)

She was my guest, NB and flying Y. The spa staff said J or F only - I forgot her status as NB when doing last post and I took staff responses as gospel for all Y pax. Good to know if I fly Y. Thanks Serfty and Stark for enlighting me.

A guest of a member should get the same benefits as that member - If such was uttered to me or my guest I would have the name of the staff member and be submitting a complaint.

e.g. My wife has had a facial when travelling economy with me in MEL.

Certainly when travelling from MEL to LAX on QF93 this past Saturday, both I (WP) and my colleague (NB) both received spa treatments and there were no issues. In fact, he got a LONGER treatment than I did!

I flew Y on QF7 yesterday and used my F lounge invite to check out the Sydney Q F lounge...I had a massage while there ... wasn't impressed actually. No where near as good as the massage I got in the Thai F Lounge in BKK last year IMO. But better than nothing :)

Now to work on getting Express Immigration Cards (on QF transiting to *class) when departing PER Dom in order to maximise F Lounge time!

The girlfriend and I flew JQ MEL-SYD (with thanks of a PBG of Tiger's $19.95 fares ;) sometime in 2011). Booked two facials, went to the restaurant and had a quick entree + main + bubbles, then our allocated times came up. Had our quick facial treatments, before heading back into the restaurant to enjoy our desserts + more bubbles.

@Ferni :- I agree with you, the TG F Lounge is fun especially if you have plenty of time for the 90minute oil massage.

Was that the weekend that was SWMBO's introduction to the art of a Flounge run that got gatecrashed by at least 2 others?

Actually it would be the weekend that an informal F lounge visit was arranged that someone decided to use as SWMBO's F lounge introduction. I count 5 other AFFers as being there but the instigator made other arrangements (with good cause).

I got one from the transfer bus desk. I'm sure there are other sources.

F lounge time is great but it can get boring after a while.
