Travel Insurance 92yr old

@infrequent_jim How did you find a travel insurance company that will offer just basic cover for delays, lost luggage etc ? I also used to use just platinum credit card cover, and have never made a claim in many years of travelling. But I'm now 82 and so over their 80 y.o. cut-off.

Now I'm planning a 3-4 week trip to the UK only (I am a British citizen and also have family there) but including a side-trip with a UK company that requires me to have insurance cover while with them.

When I enter my travel details with any of the companies mentioned above (aand others) I am offered only a "Gold" level policy covering many items I don't need, such a rental car excess waiver (I don't drive), domestic pet, travelling companion etc. I want just minimal basic cover.
The Australian Bridge Federation, the game, not the structural engineers, offer travel insurance to members up to and including age 90. Can't comment on it, I just know it exists.
