OZB reporting that (most?) ANZ credit cards now explicitly include COVID coverage for their dom/int travel insurance. Method for obtaining certificates as required to enter countries also provided.

According to the latest T&C (March 2022) Amex Platinum Charge they now cover COVID related travel (Sec A) and medical issues (Sec E) (page 5).
I called Chubb to confirm, and they will now issue a letter of cover that can be shown at the airport, when travelling to those countries e.g, Vietnam, where proof of cover is required prior to boarding flight.

Yes, Chubb will send a letter…
But, the letter they sent me was absolutely generic, along the lines of ‘this person may be covered by a policy if they have passed the eligibility hurdles, etc..’ (see below).

On a more positive front, when we went to Vietnam last month, no one asked to see any evidence of the insurance.

Since we’ve returned, Vietnam have dropped the requirement to make a Health Declaration & the pre-departure PCR/RAT for travellers from Australia.

Anybody had experience with Insure and Go? I got a link via an I Know the Pilot email for 15% off their policies until 31 May 22. Oddly enough the Gold Package is slightly cheaper than Silver. Only these 2 choices cover Covid. Insure & Go Link I'm going to Thailand so need Covid cover and at least $USD10,000 medical cover to get the Thai pass as many seasoned travellers here would know. It's my first time going to Thailand.
