Travel Insurance via CBA Plat AMEX/Visa : is it sufficient?

any one had a review of the PDS and got a view about the Allianz coverage?
It seems very nit-picky to me, with lots of get-out clauses (maybe that's just travel insurance in general). Also there seems to be an excess on most things you might claim for. I've taken out this insurance several times recently, but thankfully I haven't had to make a claim. I really don't have a lot of confidence that a successful outcome to a claim could be achieved without a lot of to-ing and fro-ing and talk of going to the ombudsman. But that's just my feeling.

FWIW I have previously made a couple of claims on the ANZ Bank's complimentary insurance and achieved a successful outcome in both cases, although it took an exceeding long time to finalise and I did have to threaten referring a case to the financial services ombudsman for one claim arising from the Icelandic volcano eruption a few years ago.

I never ever rely on these credit card insurances.

I have an annual travel insurance policy.

When I did claim - the insurer demanded to know the names of my credit card company so that it could chase the credit card insurance.

I refused to provide this info and there were no consequences.

I was wondering if people have had any experiences with this insurance?

thankfully I havent had to claim, but im on my third trip shortly, and I just want to know (and yes ive read the PDS and its confusing, like all insurances)

obviously, Im not expecting to be put up in a 5 star hotel and my salary covered if I break nail, however, I just want to know that in generally common insurance situations there are going to be no nasty surprises

lets say, injuries while travelling, flight cancellations, major flight delays, volcanos (like in bali), all medical costs, hotel costs, rebooking flight costs

I was answering the questionaiire, and it seemed to cover everything reasonable.
