After a fairly pleasant festive season roster last year, it seems 2012 is the year for N860CR to be screwed

I'm stuck working Xmas day and NYE (but fortunately have NYD off). Xmas isn't too bad and flights that day are generally pretty quiet so hopefully I'll get home in time for dinner. NYE is a bit more of a problem though. I really don't know what time I'm going to finish. It could be 10am, or it could be 5pm. I'm tossing up buying a 7pm BNE-SYD on DJ with the hope of moving to an earlier if I finish sometime in the morning/early arvo.

Does anyone know how full NYE flights tend to be between the capitals? I'd be pretty upset if I have to spend NYE sitting around BNE airport until the later hours!

Flew home to SYD from AKL on 30th December of last year, if that is anything to go by. Flight was deathly quiet, only Mum and I in J (later joined by some crew being positioned back in SYD) and down the back the cabin was well less than half full.

Service, is, ah, very attentive. The crew in J didn't get much attention at all, but the CSM didn't leave us alone!
