Traveling to AUH/LHR and onto Europe

Hi all,

With a view to maximising status credits and points earn, I was hoping some members could give me a few pointers for travel within Europe once getting to Abu Dhabi or London via Etihad or Singapore Airlines.

Air Berlin seems to be problematic in that Status Credits are only earned on VA codeshare flights, and these don't seem to be bookable via the Virgin Website.

All feedback appreciated.
