I had the misfortune of being in the same town as "Schoolies" a couple of years ago.

Dad was here for one weekend in November and I thought I would take him down to Tweed Heads for the day. Came back via Gold Coast as I had no idea. Stopped at Woolworths to get some things. Kids everywhere carying on and screaming on balconies everywhere with some of them walking or hanging off railings.

Never ever again....
