Travelling with wife and child- best seating options on QF400

Happy Friday all!

I’m flying QF400 Mel-Syd on the A330 and I’m taking my wife and toddler along as it’s a weeklong work trip. We are all flying business as it happens that only business reward seats were available. They’re in the middle seats on Row 7 - which seat would I be best in to be closer to them? Directly in front in Row 6 or off to the side in 7A?

Thoughts?

I’d go for row 6. Wall is right behind you and feels more private.

Thanks everyone! Managed to get 5A, 6E and F as suggested.

Now, next question - my son is just over 2 but is there any way he would be allowed to share a seat with my wife (even though he’s got his own business ticket)?
