Triple Velocity points to Tasmania (book by 9/3/25)

If you book return do you get triple points for the whole trip?
I should think so....I was looking at this ex PER. Prices quite expensive still but triple.points is a good return (on a choice fare).

I'm thinking this offer is an explanation for something that's been puzzling me. Business class to Launceston prices have gone crazy. I'm in Adelaide this week, flying home to Launceston on the 15th. When I booked, back in January, the direct ADL - LST was $569 in Business. I ran through the process a way and I could see there were no seats booked. I then booked Flex and tried to use my Platinum upgrade. No seats available, as per normal. It's not much of a perk when you can't use it!
Within a few weeks, that 15th March flight went up to $855, which is where it is now. Still no seats sold, last time I looked. That direct flight in Business usually starts at less than $400.

I have still refrained as the prices are far to high.

3) complete travel on an Eligible Flight. An Eligible Flight is a Tasmania (HBA and LST) inbound flight marketed and operated by Virgin Australia
This doesn’t make sense to me…
If you fly one way bne-syd-hba do they not give you triple points on the bne-syd flight? And if so how do they now how much you paid for which segment?
