TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

We've been watching a bit of ABC iView, mostly the Arts. A couple of stand outs -
*Wharf Review (STC) - 15yrs. People of a certain age will know the characters and events. Bob Hawke and Paul Keating in a nursing home working out how to get the votes is very funny. A bit like the original Max Gillies stuff.
*Also Turandot on Sydney Harbour - just brilliant
*Quartet and Country - Australian String Quartet and Indigenous perforrmers

And of course the new Bosch series is good.

For those of us who activated a free Disney+ account, don't forget to cancel it before the next billing cycle. I cancelled it this evening just to be sure.

And yes I rewatched Hamilton and enjoyed it even more. This time I used sub-titles to ensure I heard and understood every word of the lyrics.

There are a couple of other shows about Hamilton on Disney+ that I also found interesting but that is really it for that channel.

I'm glad I activated my free trial and exploited it's benefits.

Thanks for the heads up @Buzzard, Joseph isnot one that I enjoy - let me know what is up next :)

Yes DIsney catalgue is really limited if you are an adult. Having watched Hamilton a couple of times and The Mandolorian (which was over rated) I cant really find anything esle to watch there. I guess they paid so much for Hamilton to lure people over from other streaming services, a pity they dont have a catalgue which would appeal to that audience to keep them. If you have Amazon Prime there is a Hamilton doco on there called Hamilton: One Shot to Broadway which was interesting viewing.

Watching Eurovision movie. Not great but quite amusing bits.

“For instance, Lars compares his cough to a Volvo as it’s ‘solid, sturdy, dependable and not going to turn any heads’. I laughed because it’s the truth. I drive a Volvo and if it were a cough I could see it would be just like that as well as a bit dented and scruffy. (I also laughed when Lars and Sigrit declare they are fans of ‘cough and Garfunkel’.)“

the Eurovision movie was somewhat amusing. Not the most rivetting viewing but didn't turn it off thinking I wanted to poke my eyes out. Personally I've become a bigger fan of elves and want to travel to Husavik even more after seeing the scenery.
