We are hooked into The Expanse at the moment. Really enjoying it. One good thing about always being way behind everyone else is we generally have lots of seasons to watch by the time we find something :). Just finished season 3 with two more to go and then we will need to wait for the final season.
+1 for The Expanse as well. I had read the books before watching the TV series, and they have recreated the story lines perfectly and the casting is spot on.

Dr Who. It is what it is. New Doctor is ok and storylines are, well, pretty much as they have always been?

Yes and no. I found the stories lines since Moffat ceased as show runner have been simpler, slower and less engaging more stand alone like old Who. I fell asleep in the Tesla episode and haven't gone back to watch anything since.

These are good from SBS

Halt and Catch fire series is interesting. Not sure of someone in 1984 writing in C on a C64 though!

I watched it years ago when it first came out and watched all of its seasons. It is quite a good series with a different premise than most and I enjoyed watching it. There are better shows, but it is better than many.

Started Lupin when it first came out, then dropped it. Hubby decided it was time to watch..... then promptly fell asleep on the lounge - which left me to watch the same episodes again...
Third time lucky?

We watched The Serpent on Netflix this week. It's a biopic on Charles Shobraj who murdered many young travellers on the hippie trail in SE Asia in the 70s. Series was very well done. Shobraj was/is very creepy. Did anyone else watch it?

Yes we finished it about two weeks ago. It was incredibly intense and knowing this was a true story, and we remember it at the time, made it all the more sinister. We had to psyche ourselves up to watch it each time and was glad when it finished but we did enjoy it at the time. Weird hey?

Haha...yes, we were the same. Just had to watch it even though it creeped us out! I too remember it, even had friends who travelled in those areas at the time.

Yes, watched when it first came out. Makes me glad I stuck to the traditional route - LON - bus tour through Europe - LON -ATH - home.
Up to 7 episodes in on Halt & Catch Fire, not sure I am going to make all 40 episodes.
