Joining the chorus of AFFers who thoroughly enjoyed The Lincoln Lawyer - great series!

Now, finally onto watching the latest season of Slow Horses.
I enjoyed Lincoln Lawyer for the first ten or so episodes. But then, maybe it is just me, but the series went from a new and novel and fun thing, to what feels to me to become endless iterations of feeble new twists and turns, repetitive content, or worse still, just upping the violence/death/sex angles etc.

Perhaps it is exactly like that they find a new concept, run it for a season which we all love, then "they" try to milk endless new seasons using the concept but with barely new material?

I haven't felt like that yet for this, but another show that definitely fits that is.... Only Murders in the Building, Blue Bloods, NCIS, The Old Man etc. !

It just dawned on me that if I replace the words "Lincoln Lawyer" with "my life", my post actually makes great sense to me :O

For me it was 2 episodes.

First Old Man good, second seems to get lost and rambling.

It’s on my list. Interested to hear what you think
Watched first 5 episodes last night. Excellent!

With all the different shows discussed here, I'm guessing you lot don't have time to watch people singing, dancing, cooking or renovating.
Ive no interest in singing or dancing competitions (or any talent shows) but I dont mind M@sterchef, Dessert M@sters and Survivor.

The key for reality TV is to record it, then fast forward through recaps, any unnecessary blubbering, any coming up segments and credits and you cant watch each episode in about 20 mins.

Thoroughly enjoyed So Long Marianne (SBS) - dramatisation of the 1960s romance between Leonard Cohen and Marianne Ihlen. Hard to watch at times but based on their lives in when he was on Hydra, in Montreal and New York (at the Chelsea Hotel). The choice of actors was excellent and it felt like being a fly on the wall.

Last night we started our yearly watch of Lord of the Rings trilogy. It may not be a TV show but we treat it as one. We watch about an hour at night, and resume it the next night. Takes about 10 days for us, and we enjoy it equally every year. Extended edition, of course!
