TV series discussion {'ware Spoiler Alert}

Today on ‘S-x Before Soccer’ am watching Helsinki Syndrome. Its Finnish. Father of protagonist in the 90’s is sold a dodgy banking product for his then successful construction business- which went from bad to worse after the Finnish Mark was soon devalued by half and the banks sold everything under him.
Now…In 2020 the son takes a group of journalists hostage with all the years of documents to tell ‘the truth’
Interesting including real footage from the times with finance ministers etc

Watch Adolescence on Netflix.
British.Grim.Truly astounding over 4 parts
Did a teenager kill a student at school?
Each episode filmed in one take and you feel like you are there.

Its phenomenal how they capture the zeitgeist of adults not having a clue about what’s really going on in kid’s lives, their world on the web and school’s being out of control.

Never seen him in a bad part

Just finished bingeing this. Hands down one of the best limited series shows I’ve watched in a long time. Fantastic acting, the one-take filming is a thing of beauty, and the storytelling is masterful (albeit a genuinely raw and traumatic experience).🤯🥺
