My vinomofo order turned up yesterday and sat in the sun for 4hrs. The bottles were burning hot.
Unfortunately I didn’t know they’d arrived as 1) they didn’t knock and 2) tracking hadn’t updated to say it’d been delivered
Unsure what to do as it’s not really vinomofo’s fault
You could just call VM and tell them you aren't happy. They're the ones contracting the delivery company. I suspect they'll suggest opening a bottle or two and seeing if you think the wine is cooked or not. Given VM will just take the wine back even if you don't like it, that is probably the best approach.
I had a delivery from TWE via Aus Post yesterday. Even though the label said it requires a signature and if not safe to leave to take the a post office, they just dumped it at the front door. If they moved it 50cm it wouldnt have been in the sun. They didn't even bother ringing the doorbell. I know since I was home! Luckily I got the email notification that it had been delivered and only was out in the sun for 10 minutes.
