Serfty are you still twittering, and QF009 would be a good companion as he knows the best places in LA for clubbing and shopping. ;):p

V Australia is running a competition to send 3 mates to Los Angeles for 72 hours. The catch; they send a tweet every minute they’re there - all 4320 of 'em - to set a world record for tweeting. If they succeed, they each win a round-the-world travel ticket.

The competition website is at 4320LA > V Australia, and entrants' tweets feed through to the @4320LA account

Doesn't seem like much of a prize if you have to waste your whole trip "tweeting".

As much as I can't stand Twitter, that'd be one heck of a bender of a weekend...

Edit: er, hang on ... physical challenges?

4320LA.com T&C's said:
The three (3) Teams will each need to complete a mini 72-minute challenge set by Nova’s radio team Ryan, Monty and Wippa ... The challenges will involve various physical activities which will test each Team’s physical and/or mental agility and teamwork skills, as determined by Ryan, Monty and Wippa in consultation with the Promoter.

Just for additional entertainment value:

18. Each Team Member will be required to sleep a minimum of six (6) hours per day while completing the "4320 Minutes in LA" Challenge. This condition is non-negotiable.

28. Each Team Member participating in the "4320 Minutes in LA" Challenge acknowledges that the "4320 Minutes in LA" Challenge could potentially be a dangerous activity ... Each Team Member must: (a) attend, undergo and pass any appropriate training, briefings, safety demonstrations, required medical tests and other requirements (including blood alcohol testing) of the Promoter, as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion;

Really? Blood alcohol testing for a trip to LA? Please tell me that means they require participants to maintain a BAC in excess of 0 for the duration of the trip...

Zac thanks for pointing on the terms and conditions. they sound horrendous. :shock:

Flying economy just to get you there could be a complete undoing, but thats after you are on Nova.
