Looks fixed - LOOKING at about 40000NOK for 4 adults return on UA in April

Even if still available - the temptation for an In N Out run is good - but I'd still hesitate based on the reliability to get back to work in time :)
Expensive Hamburgers (or <insert alternative here>)!

But oh so good!!

But not worth flying UA.

UA had a not so amicable breakup around 12 years ago and I'd rather leave it in the past ;)

I have been searching for August but the dates just come up with ##### . Has anyone else looked around that time, or knows what to do about the #####?

hummel, I would agree, it was a relo and I'll point that out to them. Also, they insist on direct flts.

I got wind of a QF deal this afternoon from my partner. She's a former corporate TA. Rtn flight ex MEL or SYD to LAX for $859 includes taxes. Unfortunately the deal expires tomorrow and is for travel in Feb 2014. I've put in a request for early notice on these deals and will post on AFF asap.

Hrmmm....

$1396 special ends tomorrow. Includes $680 YQ, which if removed, brings the price to $716.

I'm not seeing the usual tricks working...

Would love to find out more.

There are still many ways to get to the USA from Sydney return for under $600 ;)

Yes. One of the reasons I didn't book this mistake fare when there was a slightly cheaper option available. No urgency.

Though getting it on the right airlines is worth a few hundred bucks extra IMHO. And I'd do ~$800 return on QF in a blink.
