With uBank buying 86400 last year, I figure it's worth throwing this referral in.

They also have (from 1st Sept) the highest interest rate @ 2.85% on the savings account, besides ING, but with much less hassle than ING. You just need to deposit $200 / month to get this rate.

I use both UBank and ING (I suspect ING will up their interest rate again any moment) but yes, UBank is easier (if you don’t need the ING ATM fee rebate. Although both also provide international fee free VISA debit purchases - which is very handy.

So, to get the.bonus interest you just deposit at least $200 per month into either your "spend" or your "save" accounts.

A bit easier than ING when the balance has to increase by more than the interest each month. ... and you can earn this interest with up to $250k in total.

Correct.

You only need to increase the ING max balance by $1.

If you have a large amount and don’t want to lock the total down you can move the bulk to the spend account on the last day of the month and back on the 1st + $1. You still get more or less the same interest each month.

uBank have increased their interest rate to 3.35% from Oct 1 ...

That’s a cue for ING to go to 3.6%. I have both - so all good!

So, ING have published changes - maximiser still at 3.1%. They MAY have increased their base rate to 0.55% (as in June the base was 0.05%) and decreased the bonus by a corresponding amount.

Just to let people know, I used this card extensively in a recent visit to the US. No issues at all. No international transaction fees. Great to get a message via the app everytime I used the card.

Ubank have now increased their referral offer to $30 each ($30 for Referrer and $30 for Referee) after 3 Card Purchases in First 30 Days. You can add the card to your Apple Pay or Google Wallet immediately after sign up so you don't need to wait to get your card.

I would be very grateful to anyone considering using my referral code ZH4EHUT . To sign up, you download the Ubank purple app, and enter the referral code during the signup process.

Thanks a lot.

This is a great card, especially for overseas travel. Yet to see any downsides to this card. I highly recommend it to all. The $30 referral is just icing on the cake!

I agree this is a great card and have had it for quite a few years mainly for the benefits it has. Despite the instructions, I don't seem to have the ability to setup PayID with UBank (so I use another bank and transfer). Have you managed to set it up?
