UK will need an ETA for non Brits/non Irish

NZ traveller declaration got put on hold, but the application will start again sometime this year, ...
They are trying to in the end, get rid of their incoming passenger cards.
Yes, their NZeTA has a fee attached, lucky for now us Aussies have an "easier run to get into visit, or even live there if so desired".
Was on my smartphone, when I saw it on ET, and didn't have the time to check if the info is already on here, waiting for bus, ...
Its a pity for those who have to/want to go to the UK to visit relatives, or for a visit.
For work, I guess work would cover it in most circumstances, and then its a claimable expense if its paid by the traveller and directly related to work.
So, for leisure, for now, NZ is the "best" for snow recreational activities.

And how can that simplify travel for Australians as it says in the link. now go to the e gates and put passport in, the gate opens, photo taken and off you go.
Plus it says you will need a CC to register on line. so really it is just to raise revenue.

I doubt it. have to process your pass[port twice. Just another money grab.

They'll need every penny they can get once the wealthy Brexit supporters take their loot and flee to Europe.

That’s a very spammy looking website.
I wouldn’t be handing any details over to them.
It’s not official at all and looks very much like those US equivalents which charge 4 times the cost of an ESTA.

When it’s actually introduced there will be an official home office link to process.

Perhaps, but it's extra time travellers must spend.

Do elderly people who may not have smartphones or anyone else who isn't good at operating them (I wouldn't consider myself an expert) have problems, especially if they lack an internet connection at home?

Will a few turn up at airports not having applied?

Oh lord, here we go 😆
