And if you go to Kings Canyon, take something to swim in. There is a really nice spot that is super refreshing.

The time of year I was there I just swam in my shorts. 10 minutes later everything was dry! :)
 
Apparently Pushka is a real word. According to wikipedia, it is Russian for gun or cannon and Yiddish for charity box.

Our Puschka was an abondened dumpster kitten we acquired whilst in Doha. We couldn't leave her when we returned to Cairns. Being Arabic her English isn't too good; hence the strange spelling she uses.:evil:

From memory, even though it was January, I was there too early in the morning (having been up on the rim at sunrise) and the sun hadn't hit that area yet, so it was quite cold. Decided against a swim.
