Unable to select seats on a Domestic Flight in J - Gold member

I believe on a 737 non-status to SG can see row 3, WP can see row 2 and P1 can see all.

I understand why it is that way, but they need to open more rows forward if all seats are taken.

As SG I have previously had access to Row 2...seems to be a bit hit and miss.

Did your EK flight numbers successfully get changed to QF flight numbers on the sector/s where QF flight numbers can be on BP?
Otherwise you will be short, as we all know, and probably QF & EK set it out this way, flying on EK metal with anything except a QF flight number will earn you no SCs.

I believe Pushka posted in the other thread that this had been done. They were well aware that EK on its own did not earn SCs but was misled by booking on the QF site and the belief that booking there (at a premium) did earn SCs. They have found this incorrect and did rebook to QF flight numbers.

How weird. You would have thought that if you can't select anything at all, that subsequent rows would progressively unblock! Everyone has already said it, but see seat map belowImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1417309569.443582.jpg

The good news is you should have no troubles selecting/being placed in a better seat when the time comes... and I'd consider row 3 to be the worst of the pick of seats :p
