Less than a week later, Tuesday 25 January's UA842 was again ditched.

Tuesday 8 February 2022 has seen UA842 (1120 hours SYD - LAX, B789 N24973) take off at 1317 so estimated arrival (same day) has become 0730, 90 minutes tardy. Inbound, it had arrived at 0859, 16 early so not sure why the outbound delay.

On Saturday 24 February 2022, UA839 from LAX to SYD is expected to arrive at 0958 hours, 43 minutes tardy with B789 N13954.

This may slightly delay the 1120 hours back to LAX, UA842.

Sunday 27 February sees UA842 (1120 SYD - LAX, B78X N17002) taking off at 1216 so same day arrival should be 0631, 31 minutes tardy. Yesterday, the same flight arrived LAX at 0641 but had B789 N13954.

Perhaps today is the first time for a B78X? It's also the first time I've recorded this type of aircraft on AFF.

On Saturday 9 April 2022, UA863's SFO - SYD was timetabled to depart at 2225 hours. B773 N2748U did not take off until 0228 on Sunday 10, with SYD arrival becoming 0938 hours on Monday 11, 158 minutes late.

The Monday 1020 hours SYD - SFO (UA870) is estimated to push back at 1125 hours.

The problems with UA870 continue, with the Tuesday 1020 hours scheduled departure of this SYD - SFO offering expected to occur at 1140. UA863 ex SFO (b789 N2645U) arrived this morning at 0741 hours, 41 minutes late.

That arrived at 09:15 Sydney time, the corresponding departure to LAX - UA 842 -gear up at 11:55am, and expect approx 8am arrival in LAX

As a result, B789 N29978 on the 0930 hours Thursday 5 May UA842 SYD - LAX was in the sky at 1155 hours and is now showing estimatd barrival at 0746 hours same day, 106 minute sbehind the schedule, so slightly ahead of what tomcut2000 suggests.

On Sunday 15 May 2022, UA863 arrived in SYD (from SFO) 41 minutes early at 0619 hours. However B773 N2333U on the return UA870 (the 1020 hours) is not expected to depart until 1600 this afternoon.

it sounds like either a staff issue or more technical delay being discovered on the flight to sydney or on the ground after arrival

Wednesday 25 May 2022's UA863 from SFO to SYD (B773 N2639U) operated unevntfully, arriving SYD 13 minutes late at 0713 hours on Friday 27. However the return to SFO, UA870 is delayed in pushback from 1020 hours to an expected 1200 'high noon'.
