United - directing credit card points to.....

I've searched but found nothing....

Has anybody found a way for Australian based credit cards to direct points to the United Airlines FF program.
I'm thinking no way but thought I'd put it out there. Wouldn't it be good ?

I believe you can convert amex points to spg to united but the conversion rates are quite poor.
It would be unreal though if they ever introduced an Aussie based card.
They do have cards throughout the Americas, the UK and North Asia so I guess it may be possible in the future.
