I was looking at my Priority Pass update for Asia Pacific and noted the following:
AUSTRALIA
Melbourne International (MEL)
United Club
April 14, 2015

LOUNGE DELETION

Effective 15MAY15 the United Club located in Terminal 2 (International) will no longer bepart of the program.

JAPAN
Tokyo Narita International (NRT)
United Club

LOUNGE DELETION

Effective 15MAY15 the United Club located in Terminal 1 will no longer be part of the program.
Not that the MEL facility was much use ...

I wonder why ... maybe United upped their rates ...

From the monthly update:
We regret to inform you that United Club lounges, one of our partners, have unfortunately chosen to no longer participate in the Priority Pass lounge access program, effective May 15th 2015. While this does mean that our Members will no longer have access to United Club’s 49 lounges (41 located in 26 airports in the US and 8 at international locations) we are pleased to advise that alternative lounges are immediately available at 17 of the 34 airports affected (10 in the US and 7 at international airports) meaning minimal disruption for Priority Pass Members traveling through these locations.

So the 1 single international location no longer available is MEL.

Not unsurprising. Must be difficult to cater probably given what is assume what PP pays (I assume they make money on the US$27 charge once past free uses)

Priority pass web site says the Reef lounge at Cairns International is a participating lounge, so only 1 lounge now in Australia. Though the last time I was in the Reef lounge it did not excite me.

I've done this lounge a few times on HKG-CNS-BNE through CX. The terminal is more comfortable.

I remember a few years back United banned 'PP Select' cardholders from lounges...
