Up Bank (a subsidiary of Bendigo Bank) has a referral offer of $5 for you when you open a new transaction account. I'll also get $5 and an additional $5 if you make 5 card transactions in the first 30 days.

This account has no ongoing fees, no international transaction fees and now no international ATM withdrawal fee, making this a great MasterCard fallback if you're using the ING Visa card normally.

Their referral process is a little different, you'll need to send me a private message with your number, I then enter your number into the app and when you download the app and sign up with that number you'll get the sign on bonus. This is to prevent phishing links and referral spam popping up.

Overall I've found Up Bank to be pretty impressive. They're a mobile only bank at the moment (web app on the feature roadmap) and the app is very slick and has a lot of nice features, including things like being able to instantly provision the debit MasterCard into Google/Apple Pay as soon as you open the account, creating as many saver sub accounts as you want and being able to schedule instant PayID transactions (down to the minute). They also have integration with TransferWise as an "in development" feature coming soon.

If anyone is interested in having a look, send me through a message with your number and I'll refer you.

UP is ok. i'd like to throw in my referral offer of up to $10 for you when you open a new transaction account. I'll also get $5.
You’ll get:
$5 when you successfully sign up.
$5 after making 5 purchases in 30 days.

Up is the best of the Australian neobanks in my opinion (and many others who have tried most of them)!. I look forward to them getting closer to those in parts of Europe but they're worth checking out for now.

We'll both get $5 if you use my referral and another $5 after 5 purchases in a month! :)

For the whole of February, Up has upped (great pun, thak you!) the referral bonus from $5 + $5 to $10 (when you join) + $5 when you make 5 x transactions in the first 30 days. This applies to referrer and referee. :)

For February only, we’re doubling the initial sign up bonus paid when you Hook Up a Mate. You can now earn up to $15 for every mate you invite to Up. It’s never been a better time to help your mates master their money, smash their savings goals and simplify their lives by bringing them over to the Upside.

After they successfully sign up, you’ll each get $10 (instead of $5), and, if they make 5 purchases using their Up card or digital wallet in their first 30 days, you'll both receive another $5.

I think that Up Bank is still the best of the neobank's and useful (for me) as an extra account just to shift money about but also very good as your main bank for many.

$5 for you and me if you use my referral code. :)

Hi Friends,

I recently joined UP Bank, I'd love for you to use my referral.
I get $10 and you get $10

It's super easy to sign up. It took me 5 minute max.

Up has some great features, automatically categorizing your spending, weekday "Free" coffee draws, weekly "Happy Hour" promotions and some awesome savings rates.

Referral rates vary, currently it's $10, sometimes it goes up to $14, sometimes it goes down to $5. So get it while it's $10 (please!) :D
