Think there must be a typo in the last paragraph as I am guessing it should have read as 10 points per $ spend (effectively doubling the regular earn rate).

As other posters, you can get 100 bonus VFF points at 7-Eleven by buying a sausage roll/pie or a sandwich with a drink.

Iirc from last year this is a semi ok deal if you're flying a lot in Y, but otherwise underwhelming compared to DSC.

I've kind of ignored any of their emails about signing up to the Business Flyer program. If I have an ABN, does it matter that the trips are not related to that ABN/business?

So question ... thinking forward to when my status renewal is due in late October, do these bonus status credits count towards the "50% of your Status Credits balance must be earned on Virgin Australia marketed flights flown by you" component - or not? If they do, they may be useful but if they count in the other component, then I don't need them. Thoughts @AFF Editor?? Thanks 🙏🏻

The person flying is getting the bonus SCs so the answer is self evident, business flyer is points only program

My understanding is that these status credits would count towards the 50% requirement, as @markis10 suggests.

I called them to see if transit flights count as 2 flights (eg. SYD-BNE-TSV). I got a Philippines call centre and he confirmed that it would count as 1 flight which sucks as I am pretty sure this was 2 flights in the past. I don't trust those overseas call centres so I emailed Biz Flyer too but the name suggested it was foreign and she just sent me the definition of eligible flight which I don't think is clear as it mentions VA flight numbers which in this case would be two. She didn't really answer my question. If anyone has intel that would be great as the date I was looking to bbok this flight was 30 March so I would hate to be 1 flight short if it fails as 2.

One flight number on same day should earn as one flight segment, irrespective of stops.

Two different flight numbers onr the same day should count as 2 segments.

Garbage advice. Two segments with different flight numbers have always been treated as two flights. If there had been a change, there'd have been a 🔥🔥🔥 thread here.
