I joined the program as soon as they sent me the email.
I have spent over $250 in more than 10 transactions, with 1 transaction more than $25.
(eg I bought nappies on special at Toys R Us, I bought 3 boxes, $29 each, and I told the cashier to do 1 transaction at a time)
I just checked my AMEX balance online, they have given me 2500 extra points.

Did they add the points straight after the transactions went through or is it a month after you registered for the promo?
I have made many more than 10 transactions since i registered and have not seen any points added to my account.
i registered online as soon as i received the mailout and confirmed it on the phone using the code word journey. i got my bonus 2500 points as soon as i made the 10 th purschase.
I just called Amex to see where my points were and was told that they will be added in a lump sum at the end of October.

Got a slightly different deal in the mail on my Engineers Australia Gold card today. Get 2500 points for every 10 $30+ purchases between 1 June and 31 July, up to 7500 points.

I rang Amex on 1300 363276 and asked if I could sign up for the Journey promotion.
I didn't get any email or an offer in the mail from Amex.
I had signed up last week, but just wanted to see if I was really entitled to the it.
I was told I am already enrolled and just need to do the 10 * 25+ spends each month.
I have a QF Branded Amex.
Same. I never use AMEX although i've put through about $800 this month just for the promo. Hardly anyone takes AMEX Got 5k points so far.I actually received both offers. The $25 offer via email and the $20 offer via mail for the same Amex account. The Amex account that was targeted has not been used much over the last two months.
It'll be interesting what happens at the end of the next few months.
OK here is my tale of woe....
I didn't receive the offer but rang up on 26/05 and spoke to Christopher @ AMEX. He said that he would check with the MR Dept. After a hold he said yes it was all OK and I was enrolled in their back-end systems and all is OK.
Rang up today out of interest as to when the bonus points would arrived. Spoke to a new agent who checked with the MR Dept. Was told that I wasn't eligble and I was never enrolled and I couldn't enroll.
So good luck to those who got in but for me, seems like I got kicked out
