Hi All

New to this forum as a questioner, though lurked for a while.

Sounds like a daft question, so here's the background.

I have 1k on *A and a bunch of unused system upgrades, but due to change of circumstance I now fly much more on QF and DJ. In fact I have gold on QF and Plat on DJ.

Soon I need to make a personal trip (ie I pay my own way) SYD-LON, and I wondering if I can do the following:

Book on SQ, and use *A to upgrade to Biz

Then at some point when the Biz is in the bag, switch the points and status that I get from the flght to Velocity.

I'm told that one can go to the lounge desk and switch which program the flight credits to, and I'm on SQ already so they shouldn't mind.

Thoughts?

I have certainly done it on both QF and AA.My main program is AA,mrsdrron is QF.So I upgrade us on AA then she switches to QFF.She upgrades us on QF then I switch to AA.
No knowledge of SQ but should be OK.
