Hi all,

I recently managed to change a LAX-BNE flight to a LAX-SYD flight and maintain my points upgrade to J. As my actual origin is MEL, I decided to use 2 of my complimentary upgrades to get to J on the domestic legs and claw back the points that I had previously used to do so.

Since then, my points balance is looking a bit odd:

* I can see two instances of 45,000 points being taken for long haul upgrades
* I can only see one instance of 45,000 points being credited for the reversal of the upgrade on the (now changed) LAX-BNE leg

The Processed and Activity dates for all of these points transactions is 14/Jan/2016, although I'm also seeing zero value activities for the Redemptions of the outbound and inbound legs of that trip.

Has anyone seen these sorts of errors in the past? If so, did you need to intervene to get them corrected or did they get sorted out after a few days?

I've definitely had delays of up to a few days to see upgrades deducted from my account, but it's always been corrected eventually (unfortunately ;)).

I definitely won't miss the points with my current balance, so I'll give them a week to make things right before I give Velocity a call.

45,000 points going missing is a non-trivial thing although I am trying to remember when I last thought 45,000 was a massive amount. :-)
