Upgrade request by CL for Gold flyer - when should it be confirmed?

For equivalent status travellers requesting on their own merit (ie. gold vs gold): what order are these processed? Time of request, "ranking" of FFer (ie. one Gold out ranks another), other method (fare class, last upgrade etc)?

Thanks
Gee, you're hopefull. Other than the published "Status" order, anything further appears to be very much CiC - I still reckon the PCV would be used these day - if it's good enough to rank PAX for seat allocation and "proactive onloads" then it's good enough to tiebreak within status levels.

a) It costs nothing to ask
b) a vague answer (PCV is used for example) is better than no answer.

Hopefully RedRoo can enlighten us, or if not, we'll just continue to speculate!

Methinx you'll find the latter ...

I have this vision of QFF staff reading these threads and all laughing at them ... :p

To be honest, before Altea I had little doubt it was booking class (Y B H K M L ...)

Thanks for the response everyone!

So I take it I am processed at the same time as Gold FFs but I would be very near the top of the gold pile since the request came from a CLP1?

I have done this many a time. Get your CL to contact the appropriate phone numbers and they will lodge a request at a high level request. Use your CL status not your P1
