No response to this on Flyertalk, so hopefully the good folks here may have some insights. I have a Premium Economy booking AKL to YVR on NZ and wish to upgrade to Business using an M&M *A upgrade award. The outbound and inbound sectors are booked into O and U class respectively, and according to the T & Cs on the Miles and More website upgrades are possible from these classes.

However, there is no info on how many points this requires between these two zones. Anybody successfully upgraded from PE to Business and is it the same number of points as an Economy to Business upgrade? For some reason LH can not see the NZ PNR so everything has to be done in a very roundabout way.....

It's completely outside my experience. Did you post this on FT M&M or FT NZ?
