Upgrading on Emirates

I am flying to Europe in the next few days and I have already secured upgrades for the long haul sectors between Australia and Dubai, when I purchased the flights I made sure that upgrades were available on those sectors, sadly only 777 and not the A380.

After spending a few days in Dubai flying to the UK, and currently flying in economy but hoping to get a points upgrade to business.

Is there a certain time or days before flight that Emirates might release more upgrade seats.

There is no pattern. It will all depend on load. You can always try at the airport; we've managed to do that before. Even if they can't do it at check in, you can try again at the lounge.
