Call in the evening Australian time and write down the name of the operator when they answer. If you dont like what they say, HUACA immediately - its extremely unlikely you'll get the same operator twice (check their name against the names you have written down).
1pm Sue - We are not booking flights for 2015 yet - 2 min call
1pm ??? - We don't fly to Guam - 2 min call
1pm Tammy (pheonix centre) - 30k sounds too low, I'm going to try everything I can to make sure I won't ticket (She went to supervisor) - 37 mins
9pm Robyn - "I will find the flights myself" - 2 mins
9pm Sam - MPM exceeded - 6 mins
Will continue. My last Guam trip was booked for 4 people in one phone call (3 different routings).

that was the best site, now back to using united.com or flisea.com (you can add your ANA account to flisea.com and search both ANA & Aeroplan)
Yes, sad that is gone. On their website:
To our users:
It is with regret that AwardTravelr will be temporarily shutdown. Our aim at AwardTravelr has always been to provide frequent flyers world wide with a free and better search tool - allowing them to make full use of their frequent flyer miles. However, due to recent events such as receiving a Cease & Desist letter from United, we have made the decision to discontinue the service.
Thank you for your generous donations and support over the past two years - that kept us running and gave us the ability to cope with increased traffic. Keep checking back on AwardTravelr - we will certainly be relaunching with a better tool in the future!
AwardTravelr Founders
Hi All,
This is jyflyer from AwardTravelr.
Hi All,
This is jyflyer from AwardTravelr. We're glad that our site has benefited you guys over the past two years! The site has been a part-time endeavor over the past two years and we're amazed that we've done over 1.2 million searches for the community. As most of you would know, UA data is a valuable asset for our site, so when they sent us a cease & desist letter, we've no choice but to temporarily shut down the site. Rest assured that we're going to reach out to UA to work out some form of agreement; but for now, we will have to fulfill their requests so as to avoid any further legal action from their end. Unfortunately, all of us hold full-time jobs outside of AwardTravelr and I am in the middle of relocating from Seattle to Singapore - so it might take some time for the site to be up again. Nonetheless, I'll be trying my best
Thanks for your support so far.

This kind of news looks rather encouraging. I sincerely hope this is not a hype trip over a cliff.
If it's all apples, then it's great timing with the current Buy Miles promotion.
US Airways: earn & burn for Oneworld and Star Alliance from March 30 - Flights | hotels | frequent flyer | business class - Australian Business Traveller
I'm trying to look for some corroborating information on Flyertalk, but at the time of this posting I can't find anything.
It's no different to what we already know. The list of star partners has been around for a while, and the ability to redeem on oneworld carriers (aside from AA metal) is not expected on 1 April itself (but some as yet undefined period after).
Agree with Mel_traveller, there has been a lot of speculation but this post largely only relies on what US have actually told us aside from the assumption US current chart will apply. Given no replacement chart has been published that is in fact a reasonable assumption except from the fact that that chart explicitly refers to Star Alliance awards. This kind of news looks rather encouraging. I sincerely hope this is not a hype trip over a cliff.

This article is pretty vague on the most important part of the merge for us - from what date can you redeem DM for OW flights? The article says March 31 but I will eat my hat if this is true - I highly doubt their systems will be in place in time.
I assume even though there are continuing US *A codeshare partnerships you will not be able to do a mixed *A and OW redemption as those airlines wont necesarilly have interline agreements? If so, as great as the continuing codeshares are, with no TG and UA, and SQ's restrictions there are very few ways to get out of Australia!

I guess once US leaves *A, with the limited carriers remaining with continuing agreements, it would only be CA, BR, NZ and SQ... and you mention SQ's limiting factors, plus NZ almost always has no longhaul J (except limited to PVG), and ditto the last point on BR (with only one entry point to Australia, BNE). From the ow side it's not too bad, with QF, CX and BA (notwithstanding possible YQ on BA redemptions, hopefully not crossing into US DM); CX is particularly easy to get seats.
It has recently been announced that US Airways will be leaving the Star Alliance on 30 March 2014 and the frequent flyer partnerships between Airpoints and US Airways will end on 29 June 2014.
We sincerely appreciate your consistent support of EVA Air. As US Airways already announced that it will secede from the Star Alliance on March 30, 2014, therefore, we are regretful to inform you that the Frequent Flyer Program partnership between EVA Airways (BR) and US Airways (US) will be terminated effective from May 15, 2014.
AusBT have specifically advised me that OW redemptions with DMs will be available from 31 March. I doubt this will actually happen.
