I seem to remember tracking down my last QF PNR through the BA site - even though none of the flights that I had booked with US Airways were actually on BA.

let us know how it goes. At the back of my mind I recall something similar - although I'm not immediately sure if it concerned MH. The answer came back in the negative (ie unconfirmed).

My flight came back unconfirmed. I've had to reschedule the trip to return a day earlier and have the last leg in Y. New reservation is on hold and request put through to MH. Will hopefully be able to confirm in the next few hours as the hold expires this evening.

If I lie on the voice prompt and say 'change booking' I keep getting the most USELESS agents that have no idea how to use the award system and have been quoted saying things like 'because the merger is still going though we can't get any availability with MH' and 'we can only book 6 weeks out' its starting to drive me insane. Anyone got a fix?

the USA is in the midst of severe weather. This happens from time to time. Nothing you can really do except either keep trying (you may get lucky and be patched through if you hit a quiet period) or try a foreign call centre (UK for example).

It's understandable people on the ground with urgent travel needs get priority. 1900 flights cancelled in the Boston region or something.

What's the best way to search for QR awards ex-DOH to Europe. Logically QR?

I can't even choose DOH on QF, and BA shows routes via LON.

Is there any easy way to retrieve my QF PNR from the USDM booking without calling QF? It wasn't provided with the reservation and the US PNR doesnt work on the QF site.

Trying calling USDM. They were able to provide a OW PNR for all the carriers that used amadeus.

Try using QF for a return trip i.e. Europe-Doha-Europe, this should work
Normally BA shows Qatar flights no problem, if all you can see is something via London that's probably an indication there's no availability on direct QR flights

I used the BA site to get all the flights sorted (PER-DOH-FRA-TXL//SAW-DOH-KUL-PER) as it removed the links with EK, so it was easier to see what was bookable.

The final call only took 20 minutes (mid afternoon Sunday WST) and most of this was taken up with sending the itin to the rate desk as the award was auto pricing to 135k pts. US and MH PNRs have been located but I cant find the QR or AB ones, I'll have to call them later to get those so that I can book seats.

Can't use Air Fiji, they are not part of One World. Go to Noumea on Qantas instead

Air Fiji has never been a part of OneWorld. It codeshares with Qantas and you can book Air Fiji flights with QFF points or with AAdvantage miles as AA partners with Air Fiji

as for USDM - one has never been able use Air Fiji for their awards. You might be able to do it when the two programs (USDM and AAdvantage) merge, probably in April, as I suspect the combined program will retain current AAdvantage partners

Can't use Air Calin codeshare either as they are not part of OW. It has to be a Qantas flight

You can't book codeshares unless you're using QFF points. Nothing recent about that.

I'm trying to organise a trip to Turkey/Greece in September from Perth but not finding much availability. Going is not bad but coming home in the first week of October is a big problem. Whats the group think on more award space becoming available in the near future. I'm really surprised as I thought one the European schools re-opened after the summer break, award space would be ok.
