Assumptions:
AA = 1 Free Checked Bag, Admirals Club Access + 1
DL = No Complementary Bag, Lounge Access
Virgin America = No Bag, No Lounge

Looking to book NYC - LAX - LAS - NYC (DECEMBER)
2 People travelling and 1 Checked in Bag required.

Are my above assumptions correct regarding Status and Lounge Access?

Is it safe to assume that American Domestic Flights are generally TERRIBLE?

I have flown Delta, US Airways and American and all pretty standard in Economy.

Has anyone tried Frontier, Jet Blue, Air Trans

I understand that i will need to pay for bags if i don't fly Delta, but i dont believe its worth paying more to fly Delta just to not pay for bags. Does Delta treat you any better as a Virgin elite?

Or should i just go the cheapest price

Any suggestions on booking websites? Looking at Priceline and Orbitz?

FlewFrontier in June, i really like them and their Y product is good.

Jet Blue is great; highly recommended.

I fly Delta and AA a lot - i think Delta has it domestically over AA; better product, better lounges. But don't expect special service as Virgin Platinum.

I love Virgin America, but no lounge access really annoys me. Best domestic product in the US IMHO.
