I've since had my background check completed with my result as "eligible" (with a Validity End Date in five years' time). Would the next step be to book an interview? If so, does it actually need to be booked, or do I just step aside at one of the eligible airports (found in link posted earlier) and have an impromptu interview? What's the correct process to follow for this as no instructions were received via e-mail?

I've never done this before, so my apologies if my questions seem basic.

Took a quick look through this thread (I didn't get an invite, but have travelled to the US enough), but I just applied online and submitted an application at the TTP site (with the link from Global Entry for Australian Citizens )

(posting here in case others were also confused — you don't need an invite, you can just apply yourself)

@Himeno, I'm assuming that I could also do the interview at one of the non-USA locations too?

I'm going to be in Scotland and England soon, so maybe I could slightly alter my plans and do the interview in Ireland while I'm there?

They appear to have just dropped the E from the front of the ICAO code. So yes, they are using the incorrect codes!

The invite is the email from Home Affairs that follows your application on the TTP site.

I don’t think anybody said there was an invite to the whole process.

They are neither IATA, ICAO or FAA codes.

They are CBP codes, a whole other beast. Many major US airports don’t match either.
