Funny you should say that cove! We're actually heading to Melbourne in a couple of months which will give us a better idea of her temperament. I'll be sure to put together a trip report of the experience, including our infant wrangling endeavours.

She did flew from Perth to Esperance last month and by all reports was a delight for passengers and crew.
But that was only 90 minutes or so.

Babies and toddlers will cry and even chuck a tanty on a plane. Sometimes there is nothing you can do. No plane has ever diverted because of a screaming baby/toddler, however many an airplane has been diverted for an adult tantrum. I think this indicates to me that an adult tantrum is much more of an issue than a toddler tantrum.
