Would choose Singapore every time: service on Etihad is so so (albeit only tried in Business and economy) whilst Singapore is always consistently above very good no matter what class. Further just because you are flying first doesn't mean that you get any priority or extra consideration in the chaotic airport at Abu Dhabi (a couple of very vocal First Class Americans were nearly ejected last time we were there!).

Very different experiences to ours. We found SQ Y to be coughpy and status recognition to be non-existant and EY to be very good (as far as Y goes). Also found AUH to be a very smooth and seamless experience (although the bus to the terminal from the plane was a slight hindrance).
