Hi there

I'm about to lose my SG status in a few days' time but was hoping to use Air NZ lounge in early June (three weeks after Review Date).

Are the staff at Air NZ lounge pretty good in knowing that you can still use the lounge for a month after Review Date? Or have people encountered issues before?

Thanks

If you were SG when you booked the tickets, this should stick to your booking. So when your BP is printed it should still have SG on there. YMMV though

Your card should have the expiry date on it which is four weeks after the review date, so its valid until then.

When I dropped from Platinum to Gold a few months back my status stuck for a month after my review date (ie: until the expiry date).

No issues. I even accessed the Star Alliance First lounge in LAX

thanks guys - the only reason i ask is because for some reason, my card has a Review Date but not an expiry date. We'll see how we go!

I don't have global wallet, and my card is valid one month after the review date. It says so on the card

If that was true you could book a ticket 12 months out with one day of gold left and still be granted the benefits of gold more than 11 months after your status review.

In September 2015 I dropped from Gold to Silver and my status was reviewed ~2 weeks after review date not 4 weeks as was the case in previous years.

I have seen on here and other forums anecdotal chatter that this is the case, as i said YMMV

Maybe no more than a month after your status review, possibly the card's expiry which is a month after your review.

Its all been answered here already, but I had some Air NZ flights during the review process as platinum ( I went down to gold) and platinum still showed on my NZ boarding pass.

Strange. Doesn't Air NZ only print VA-G on boarding passes for both Velocity Gold or Platinum members?
